It's a Boy!
Saturday we threw a baby shower for my beautiful bestie and my godson Well talk about God giving his blessing , we woke up that morning to a down pour Thankfully by noon it had stopped raining and the outdoor celebration went on. We had such a fun day celebrating these two and that baby boy to be. Ange and Mike, I am so happy for you both and honored that I was asked to be the Godmother to your son. I hope you enjoyed your party (I know you did), we all did! Love you three!

Our Weekend according to Instagram
We had such a fun weekend of dinners with friends, a baby shower, a going away party at a rad new restaurant, breakfast out and the farmer's market, dinner with my folks, and a lot of relaxing and reading in between. Feeling a cold coming on today and I know it is my body trying to tell me to slow down. I'm going to listen and do just that, for the rest of the day at least. Hope you had a wonderful weekend!
DIY Tissue Poms
Making tissue poms is an easy inexpensive way to decorate for a party. You can make then in any size and color to fit you parties needs. Just follow the 4 steps and you've got it!
1. Accordion fold your tissue paper (8-12 pieces of tissue)
2. Find center and staple
3. Cut off edges at each end
4. Fluff tissue towards center in both directions
Ready for a party! I used fishing line to hang them but you could use anything. We used these for a baby shower and hung them from the trees outside and around the house for decoration. They look beautiful on there own but really stunning in clusters. Happy crafting!

Invisible Mothers
How spooky/entrancing are these photos. Mothers use to hide under blankets to hold their babies still. What is it about old photos like this that are so haunting?
