Fridays at the park

Lately we have loved nothing more than spending quiet sunny afternoons in the park. I'm so happy that spring is here and laying in the warm sun makes me so excited for picnics, pool time, and sunday fundays.  For now I'm fine relaxing and enjoying quiet afternoons in the park just the three of us.

How cute is this video! Brad was trying out a new camera and put this short video of Penny together. I just love it!

Now that our taxes are done (yes I know I waited till the last minute) I can actually start to look into our big vacation for the year.  At the moment I'm Paris dreaming!

Marshmallows in the sky

Over the last week we have had storms blowing in and out. Although I am wishing it to be warm and sunny I will deal with the rain and the cold if it means I get skies like this.

Laugh all you want but lately I have been hooked on these two 90's classics.  Over the last week we finished both and I frankly don't know what I am going to watch next. Thank you Netflix for having such great oldies but goodies and giving me such a great remembrance of my youth!

It all started with a pinecone

The other night we took Penny on a walk down to the park in the canyon behind our house.  All the way down the hill she kept grabbing pine cones and bringing them to us to throw to her.  When we got down to the soccer fields we spent several hours playing catch with the pine cone.  At that moment we wished so badly that we had a ball launcher. So of course the next day we went and got one.

I can't wait for a summer filled with playtime at the park!

Travel, Cook, Eat

We were watching Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations the other day and all I wanted to do was start planning our next big trip and GO! There is nothing that we love more than traveling, cooking and eating! This episode was from the Caribbean and you better believe I started looking into plane tickets shortly after the episode ended.

Notes

My mind is always going a million miles a minute. I am constantly thinking of what I have to do next around the house, a new recipe I want to try, or a new thing I want to craft.  Thank goodness for notes to keep my brain from exploding.
